I think one of our biggest challenges at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, as it related to our two-hour, in-person course for diabetes education, was getting the nurse buy-in. The nurses were really skeptical about attending the courses. They had attended courses in the past. What would make this any different? They still did not have a great understanding of diabetes. They still did not know how to effectively communicate with the provider. So what would be any different with this course?
