Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify personal information, and assist with check-in procedures using various EHR systems.
- Schedule appointments accurately while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and process medical billing and collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review and update medical records meticulously, including documentation review for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical history, updating care plans, and explaining clinic procedures clearly.
- Manage front desk operations efficiently.
- Support office management tasks such as appointment reminders, follow-up scheduling, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure seamless clinic flow.
Experience
- Prior clinic or medical office experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
