About EOCC
Eastern Oregon Cancer Center is a community-based radiation oncology clinic serving patients across Eastern Oregon. We focus on excellent patient service, clear communication, and helping people receive care close to home in a setting that feels welcoming and supportive.

Position Summary
We’re hiring a part-time team member to additional support our receptionist/front desk coordinator, Medical Assistant, Medical Director and staff team with front desk, administrative, and day-to-day clinic support.
The hours of this role may depend on clinic needs and candidate availability.
This is a great fit for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, takes direction well, and is willing to help where needed.
What You’ll Do
Front Desk and Patient Support
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
- Answer phones, take messages, and route calls promptly
- Help with check-in, check-out, scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling
- Assist patients with forms, directions, and basic scheduling questions
Administrative and Coordination Support
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documents
- Help with chart prep, filing, faxing, and general office support
- Assist with records requests, referral follow-up, insurance-related tasks, and other coordination work as assigned
- Support visit readiness and help keep front-office workflows moving
Team Support and Growth
- Support the receptionist/front desk coordinator, MA, and staff with day-to-day clinic
- Help with ad hoc tasks, time-sensitive requests, and special projects under the direction of clinic leadership, including the Medical Director
- Help keep patient-facing areas clean, orderly, and welcoming
- Communicate professionally and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture
Growth Opportunity
For the right person, this role may expand over time and could include:
- Cross-training in selected Medical Assistant support tasks
- Training to help as a therapist aide
- A broader schedule or potential full-time opportunity as the clinic grows
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction well, stay organized, and work collaboratively in a small clinic environment
Preferred
- Prior receptionist, administrative, customer service, or healthcare support experience
- Medical office experience
- Experience with phones, scheduling, records, referrals, or insurance workflows
- Interest in learning broader clinic support responsibilities over time
