Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, personable Medical Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with our physician and nurse practitioners to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a calm, supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures
- Administer injections and perform basic clinical tasks
- Document in EMR (experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus)
- Communicate clearly with patients and staff
- Occasionally assist with front desk duties, including:
- Greeting patientsAnswering phonesScheduling appointments
- Help maintain an efficient, welcoming office environmentQualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Certification (CMA/RMA) is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced but patient-focused environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
