Role and Responsibilities:
A Pure Ohio team member’s responsibilities revolve around having the best customer service. You will:
- Greet patients/customers appropriately, warmly and with a passion to educate – get to know them
- Provide transparent and well-informed knowledge about cannabis, product methods, uses, dosage, and other product specific information through research and training
- Communicate in a timely manner with other team members and management
- Accurately operate company’s POS system and comply with all cash handling procedures
- Assist in customer interactions and patient consultations in person and by phone
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when speaking with patients over the phone
- Ensure all products are handled and stored properly in all areas
- Appropriately complete open and closing routines and procedures
- Provide support with our team to ensure daily operations of the dispensary run efficiently and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Handling cash, cashless ATM, and online payments on a regular basis
- Perform clerical tasks including accurate filing, compiling, and maintaining inventory and patient records
- Gather and process required patient documents and information, and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality with our patients/customers
- Maintain store cleanliness throughout all hours of the day
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
General Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent
- Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot, and work independently and as a team
- Must maintain a positive and friendly attitude with the ability to handle pressure, especially during busy times throughout the work day
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Ability to learn and obtain new things about cannabis and the products we dispense
- Must be punctual, maintain good attendance, and have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for long durations of time and lift at least 40 pounds
- Can perform and understand basic math and proper cash handling techniques
- Must have basic cannabis knowledge: Medicinal properties, strains, method of consumption, regulations
- Ability to follow directions and willingness to take on additional duties as needed
