Position Title: Maintenance Facilities Coordinator
FLSA: Non-exempt
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Position Summary:
A Maintenance Coordinator is expected to have high-energy, be a self-starter, drive change and help improve maintenance department processes. A Maintenance Coordinator will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and be able to think on their feet.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:30am – 5:00 pm. 9 hour days Overtime as needed
Job Responsibilities:
A Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the effective and accurate performance of assigned clerical and procurement functions.
Purchasing:
· Responsible for maintaining maintenance inventory levels.
· Purchase all Maintenance parts and supplies.
· Reviews open purchase orders and follows up with vendors if necessary.
· Sources hard to find items through all purchasing avenues.
· Conducts status checks on purchase orders and supply requisitions; routes and escalates. appropriately to ensure issues are handled in a timely, effective manner.
· Maintains files for purchase orders and requisitions; confirm emailed purchase orders and verifies availability; adjusts purchase orders as needed within defined scope of responsibilities.
· Completes special purchases and requests and miscellaneous procurement duties as assigned.
· Assist and support department personnel as needed. Resolve requests, questions, and problems promptly.
Inventory:
· Ensure physical inventory is stored, maintained, accounted for, and accurate.
· Clean, organize, and insure inventory accuracy.
· Verify the accuracy of all incoming purchased products.
Teamwork:
· Teamwork is key in this position. Work with maintenance, accounting, purchasing, and other plant personnel on the procurement of parts for operations and maintenance.
· Establish and maintain effective, professional business relations with vendors and service providers. Obtain and convey information courteously and promptly while projecting a professional demeanor on behalf of SupplyOne.
· Assist and support department personnel as needed. Resolve requests, questions, and problems promptly.
Education/Skills/Knowledge:
· Manufacturing/corrugated industry experience a plus.
· Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
· Must be proficient in Access Data base input and reporting.
· Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical operation and components.
· Ability to read and interpret technical parts manuals and catalogues.
· Demonstrated experience in inventory and receiving.
· Exhibit solid judgment skills and ability to work independently.
· Good organization skills and excellent follow-through a must.
· Must be detail-oriented, but have flexibility to adapt to changing needs/priorities.
· Be a team player with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, twist, crouch and kneel as required. Job requires ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
