LPN – Urology | Travel or Local | Oswego, NY
Location: Oswego, New York 13126
Contract Length: 8 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate
- Travel Pay: Up to $1,800 Weekly Gross (Candidates must live 50+ miles from Oswego, NY)
- Local Pay: $35/hour (W2)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with office and medical procedures
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers during urology-related procedures
- Process patient referrals to specialists and other providers
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Provide support to nursing and administrative staff
- Deliver excellent patient care and customer service
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State LPN License
- Graduate of an Accredited Practical Nursing Program
- Current CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic clerical and computer knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Two Professional References
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with urology catheterization
- Homecare experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Knowledge of third-party insurance processes
- Strong typing and data entry skills
