Meadows is a long term care traditional nursing home located in Las Vegas, NM. We are dually licensed for 162 beds and have 5 wings – Aspen, Juniper, Mesquite, Evergreen and, Sagebrush. All wings are 36 beds except for Sagebrush which is our 18 bed secured wing for individuals that require a secured environment for their health and safety.

Why does the job exist?
This position exist to provide and supplement customer service from our Admissions Coordinator and the Administrative staff in the administration office in a highly professional manner. This position will provide tours, field incoming calls, assist with tour readiness, gather financial/health information in a highly confidential manner and, provide excellent customer service to ensure that all potential residents and their family feel warm and welcome to Meadows
How does it get done?
This position requires strong organizational and data entry skill to maintain accurate records and support daily operations. The position plays a key role in public relations by providing tours, field incoming calls, assist with tour readiness, gather financial/ health information in a highly confidential manner and, provide excellent customer service to ensure that all potential residents and their family feel warm and welcome to Meadows

All New Mexico Residents that have a need for nursing home care and the staff at Meadows Long Term Care
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, well spoken who enjoys greeting potential residents and their families/ guardians as one of the primary faces of Meadows and a representative of our commitment and dedication to quality of care. Must have total confidence in fielding telephone calls and gathering accurate information so it can be relayed to ensure timely turnaround for census development.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) months experience working in a hospital setting using medical terminology, processing and maintaining a medical records system, and/or use of Microsoft Office programs and hospital clinical software. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate
Working Conditions
This position will work in an office setting, will utilize Point Click Care, Word, Excel, Power Point and possibly Avatar as software to complete job tasks.
