Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Logistics Clerk for a food distribution warehouse. This position is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities to ensure products move efficiently through the warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work in a cold environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Assist with scheduling and tracking inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure on-time movement of goods.
- Verify and match shipping documents, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
- Support inventory control, cycle counts, and product tracking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or clerical experience preferred.
- Must know how to operate the Cherry picker
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills (Excel, Word, or WMS preferred).
- Able to work in a refrigerated/cold warehouse environment.
- Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
