Job Title: Licensed Esthetician/Laser Technician

Location: Lemoyne

Reports to: Practice Manager

PURPOSE AND OVERVIEW

Thriving med spa is seeking a part time (3-5 days) Esthetician with up to full time (5 days). Esthetician who is eager to grow with our company and committed to long-term employment. Must be pleasant, positive, and professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for the Aesthetic Industry.

Esthetician will be responsible for all aspects of patient care in our Aesthetic departments. The position will include conducting patient consultations and assessments, creating patient treatment plans, performing Laser Services, Skin Treatments, and Coolsculpting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Performance:

· Timeliness – Arrive 15 minutes before a scheduled shift

· Dress according to dress code, with professional: hair, makeup, and nails

· Positive team attitude!

Customer Service:

· Develop and deliver credible value-added services to the client

· Greet the client in the reception area at the scheduled appointment time, escort them to the treatment room and provide the consultation and/or treatment adhering to the written standards and protocols

· Knowledgeable in front desk procedures, phone skills, and scheduling clients

· Follow up with patients’ post-treatments and/or potential clients

· Identify and ensure client needs are met in a friendly and professional manner

Sales:

· Consultative skills

· Confidence in recommending treatments and products that will help achieve the patient’s goals

· Upselling where possible

· Achieve sales goals for location

· Cross-promote other treatments Bella Medspa offers

Cleanliness:

· Setting up the treatment room at the beginning and end of the shift

· Carefully clean and sanitize the room and equipment between clients according to our standards and protocols to prepare for the next client.

· Abide by HIPAA requirements

Clerical:

· Prepare for the day by reviewing the client schedule and files, making sure to have all the items needed to make the day run smoothly

· Carefully and completely document the treatment and visit in the client’s paper and or digital file and schedule the appropriate reminders for following up with the client in the days and weeks after the visit

Product/Service Knowledge:

· Attend all mandatory training/meetings

· Know all current offers and specials

Social Media:

· Participate in social media posts and reels as directed

Required Qualifications:

· Experience in a medical spa environment

· Laser hair removal experience necessary

· Laser certified

· Current Esthetics license

· Excellent interpersonal skills, reliable and flexible

· Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and very organized

· Position requires a professional demeanor and appearance at all times

· High level of Patient Care and Customer Service

· Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations

· Sales skills and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in a medical spa environment preferred

· Laser hair removal experience preferred

· Laser certified preferred

Beyond performing consultations and treatments, the Esthetician will provide outstanding customer service, and be an ambassador of the Bella Medspa brand, assisting the client as they learn about and navigate the skin care landscape. The Esthetician should take pride in being a seasoned guide, demystifying the world of skin rejuvenation treatments and products. Much like a personal trainer educates and supports her client to better health and strength, the Esthetician should feel and act invested in the clients’ ongoing improvement and use of Bella Medspa services. A deep understanding of the use and application of all products and services offered is crucial to being able to guide each client as needed.

Training is required at our other locations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
