Insurance & Investment Administrator required in Paarl.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administration of long-term insurance policies (life, disability, severe illness, income protection)
- Administration and servicing of investment portfolios across major platforms
- Administration and servicing of medical aid and gap cover policies
- Management and processing of Employee Benefits (EB) schemes, including:
- liaising with payroll departments and insurers
- Processing of:
- Liaising with insurers and platforms such as:
- Glacier / Allan Gray / similar investment platforms
- Monitoring outstanding requirements and ensuring completion of new business
- Supporting advisers with quotations and product information
- Handling client servicing requests and queries
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with FAIS and FICA requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in a financial advisory practice or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Employee Benefits administration
- Experience dealing directly with insurers and investment providers
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills when dealing with clients and provider
