Job Overview
This position performs full-performance-level work in converting hard copy letters, forms, and other paper documents into electronic imaging formats. Responsibilities include operating computer software, navigating local and wide area networks, and collaborating with agency staff and external entities for accurate processing.
All incoming paper documents must be scanned into the eRAPIDS system. The role supports staff across multiple divisions, including Family Assistance, Social Services, Operations, and other administrative units. Additional duties include logging, sorting, and distributing mail, tracking case records, reviewing employee driver’s license statuses, and maintaining state vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience using PC-based software such as word processing, database, or spreadsheet, or in electronic document management, imaging, or scanning documents.
Substitution: Three semester hours of computer science from an accredited college or completion of a formal training program in data processing or related field may substitute for the experience.
