Duties
- Oversee human resources functions such as recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
- Coordinate payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
- Plan and execute company events, meetings, and team-building activities to promote a positive organizational culture.
- Oversee budgeting processes for office expenses and HR initiatives to maintain financial health.
- Maintain accurate records through meticulous filing, bookkeeping, and record-keeping practices.
- Ensure effective communication across teams through clear messaging and organizational tools.
- Assist in training staff on policies related to office procedures and human resources protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles as well as Human Resources with strong clerical skills.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Experience with event planning and coordinating company functions or meetings.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Skilled in vendor management and negotiating contracts for office supplies or services.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
