Under general supervision, our Human Resources Assistant plays a key role in keeping our HR department running like a well-oiled machine. From handling important employee information to supporting events and day-to-day operations, this role is perfect for someone who loves details, enjoys helping people, and can juggle a variety of tasks with ease. If you’re passionate about HR, love staying organized, and can keep confidential information under wraps, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Keep our HRIS system up-to-date by entering employee details like new hires, pay changes, promotions, and more.
Handle all employee filing — both the old-school way (cabinets) and digitally.
Track and maintain attendance records like a pro.
Help with new hire onboarding — setting up their files and making sure paperwork is squared away.
Keep our DOT and personnel files audit-ready and organized.
Support audits for I-9s, personnel files, and DOT compliance — we like to stay ready, not get ready!
Pitch in with HR compliance tasks, including Motus compliance tracking.
Manage the ordering of office supplies — no one likes running out of pens!
Keep Workers’ Compensation, LOA, Benefits, and New Hire packets stocked and updated.
Assist the HR Generalist with Workers’ Compensation claims and LOA requests.
Help plan and support company events (think: celebrations, recognitions, and team bonding fun!).
Prepare separation documents and help complete offboarding paperwork.
Manage uniform ordering and inventory — keeping everyone looking sharp.
Be a go-to person for employees with questions about open positions, benefits, policies, pay, BrewU, Motus, ADP, and more.
Provide general administrative support: answering phones, managing inboxes, printing documents, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Help keep our breakroom and supply room stocked and welcoming.
Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed!
What You Bring to the Table:
2-3 years of experience in customer service or clerical support — bonus points if it’s in Human Resources!
Top-notch communication skills — both written and verbal.
An eye for detail and the organizational skills to match.
Strong interpersonal skills — you’re approachable, helpful, and friendly.
Excellent time management and the ability to multitask like a champ.
A knack for problem-solving and adapting to new challenges.
HR experience and administrative know-how are definitely a plus.
A true team player with a can-do attitude!

Compensation $26.00-$28.00 an hour
