Role Summary
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily human resources operations and ensuring accurate, compliant, and confidential HR processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an in person, team oriented environment and enjoys being a central point of support for employees and HR leadership.
In this role, you will manage employee records, assist with onboarding and benefits support, coordinate intern programs, and support reporting and administrative HR functions. Your contributions will directly support the employee experience and the effectiveness of HR operations during a period of organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and up to date HR files, records, and documentation
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes while routing complex issues appropriately
• Protect the confidentiality and integrity of all HR data and personnel records
• Provide administrative and clerical HR support, including benefits communication content
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and interns
• Manage intern onboarding for large seasonal groups, ensuring readiness prior to start dates
• Complete and maintain Form I 9 documentation and background screening requests
• Serve as back up support for payroll processing as needed
• Run HR reports and assist with tracking using Excel and Power BI when applicable
• Coordinate employee anniversary and milestone programs including reporting and gift fulfillment
Key Requirements
• Two plus years of experience in HR coordination, office coordination, or similar administrative HR support roles
• Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills for organizing and reporting data
• Experience or exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday and basic payroll processes
• High level of discretion with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to speak up and ask questions
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline driven, in office environment
