HR/Business Office Assistant Jobs in Elizabeth City, NC at The Brooks Senior Living
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Assistant will support the execution of crucial human resources functions. You will have responsibilities in all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, on-boarding/off-boarding, employee relations, and more. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail. You should be comfortable working with little supervision to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on developing job postings.
- Review, screen, and recommend qualified candidates for advancement in the hiring process.
- Schedule candidate interviews and provide logistical support as needed.
- Research, monitor, and maintain several job boards and candidate sourcing strategies.
Employee Relations:
- Interact with prospective and new employees and management to ensure a positive staffing and on-boarding experience.
- Act as resource to employees with questions and concerns. Provide guidance on policy and procedure and direct employees to available resources, escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide data trends to HRD.
- Assist in the coordination and facilitation of general orientation.
What you bring to the team:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role. Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
- Experience using job application boards (Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), and other methods for recruitment.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) skills.

- Proficient experience with all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
