Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Manage guest reservations using hotel management systems such as OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with professional phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, or special requests.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and offering local recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, amenities, emergency procedures, and local attractions to inform and assist guests effectively.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled swiftly and accurately.
- Handle night audit procedures when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Uphold guest relations standards by demonstrating hospitality management skills, problem-solving customer service challenges efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS).
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous for communicating with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols is desirable.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling guest relations in resort or hotel settings enhances your suitability for this role.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and client interaction expertise, are essential for success in this position.
