Front Desk Representative – Healthcare Office
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping patients and keeping a busy office running smoothly? We are seeking a Front Desk Representative to join a growing healthcare practice. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with medical office, receptionist, patient scheduling, or customer service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions
- Verify and update patient information
- Assist with insurance and registration paperwork
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Coordinate with clinical staff to support daily office operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
Qualifications:
- Previous front desk, receptionist, administrative, customer service, or medical office experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Healthcare or medical office experience is a plus
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break
