Gym Front Desk (Summer Role) Jobs in Houston at Compound Gym
Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team this Summer Starting May 11 until Mid August. This role is the heartbeat of daily operations, a mix of member service, sales, and facility upkeep. You’ll greet members, maintain gym cleanliness, handle memberships through GymMaster, and help keep the facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Member Service & Front Desk Operations
- Welcome members and guests with a positive, professional attitude
- Provide tours to potential members and explain membership options
- Check members in and handle guest passes
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist members with account questions
- Handle opening/closing duties depending on shift
Sales & Memberships
- Sell memberships, day passes, and promotional offers
- Use GymMaster software to create accounts, process payments, and manage member profiles
- Communicate membership benefits and promote current specials
Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
- Keep the facility clean and organized throughout the day (including bathrooms, lobby, equipment, and high-traffic areas)
- Follow the daily cleaning checklist and complete hourly walkthroughs
- Restock supplies as needed (paper towels, cleaning wipes, etc.)
General Support
- Assist with social media content when needed (simple videos/photos)
- Report any facility or equipment issues to management
- Help create a welcoming, motivating atmosphere for all members
