You won’t just check guests in. You’ll be their first impression of the The Whitlock experience — someone who helps them unlock, unwind, and start their story in the Berkshires.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth from the moment they arrive, setting the tone for their entire stay
- Manage check-in and check-out efficiently using our digital-first systems, including StayNTouch PMS and Akia guest messaging
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns — in person, via phone, and through digital channels — with a calm, solutions-first approach
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness, manage early arrivals, late checkouts, and special requests
- Serve as the on-property point of contact for guest issues, escalating to the Innkeeper when needed
- Maintain a working knowledge of both properties and the surrounding area — share local recommendations and act as a go-to Innsider guide for guests
- Support daily front desk operations including end-of-day reporting, cash handling, and shift handoffs
- Help uphold a welcoming, organized lobby environment that reflects the Revival Hotels
What We’re Looking For
- Some front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Confident communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people
- Comfortable with technology and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to stay composed and solutions-focused when things get busy
