A Remote General Office Clerk provides administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. Working virtually, this role involves handling documentation, communications, scheduling, and basic data management while supporting different teams or departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

    • Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic documents and records.

    • Draft and respond to routine emails and correspondence.

    • Manage digital filing systems and ensure data accuracy.

  • Data Entry and Reporting:

    • Enter, update, and verify information in company databases.

    • Assist in generating reports, summaries, and spreadsheets as needed.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

    • Schedule virtual meetings, appointments, and manage calendars.

    • Coordinate tasks or projects with team members remotely.

  • Communication:

    • Serve as a point of contact for internal staff and external clients via email, phone, or messaging platforms.

    • Relay important information promptly to relevant team members.

  • General Office Tasks:

    • Assist in preparing presentations or other office materials.

    • Support team members with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional office/administrative certifications preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with remote communication tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, etc.) is a plus.
