DIRECT HIRE Placement-
Kaye is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director/Restaurant General Manager (GM) to oversee bar & grill/restaurant and financial operations, such as ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, in Atlantic County, NJ. Interested candidates MUST have experience in a fast-paced, family-friendly Bar & Grill/Restaurant environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing restaurant operations, accounting, office / staff management implementing efficient processes, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
To be considered, candidates are required to have proven, stable work history – A minimum of 5 years continuous employment at each organization he or she was previously employed.
Location: Sweetwater, NJ
Starting Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per year+ incentives (DOE)
Schedule: (Weekends are a Must)
- Monday-Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Thursday: 4 PM-10 PM
- Friday: 11 AM – 11 PM
- Saturday: 11 AM – 11 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Duties
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee accounts payable/receivable functions.
- Coordinate office/staff management tasks including clerical duties and front desk operations as needed.
- Plan and organize company events related to financial reporting or team-building activities.
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Safe and Bank reconciliation
- Contract negotiations
- Complete expense reports
Requirements
- Position requires proven, stable work history – A minimum of 5 years continuous employment at each organization he or she was previously employed.
- Proven experience in an accounting management role or similar position is essential.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Aloha and Optimum inventory control management
- ABC New Jersey Regulations
- Strong team management skills with a focus on developing staff capabilities.
- Intermediate level to advanced computer literacy
- Familiarity with event planning and vendor management is a plus.
- Experience with training development initiatives to enhance team performance.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
