Job Overview
Local 70+ year manufacturer seeking a dedicated and organized individual for a Full Time office position. The ideal candidate should possess written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook & computer systems, and teamwork attitude. Must enjoy working in a fast-pace, multi-task work environment efficiently. Hours are M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Full time benefits available for qualified employees after 3 month probationary period include medical, dental, life insurances as well as paid holidays, paid vacation, annual individual bonus opportunity and employee profit sharing plan .
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including answering and directing phone calls
- Perform clerical duties, including sales order entry, creation of purchase orders and freight scheduling
- Perform basic accounting duties
- Provide administrative support to team members, including personal assistant tasks as needed
- Maintain an organized workspace and assist with inventory control
Experience
- Previous experience is required
- Basic accounting skills are required
- Proficiency in computerized systems and software applications relevant to office management
- Familiarity with calendar management tools and phone systems is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
