Front Office Receptionist Jobs in Virginia, USA at Humana Inc

Become a part of our caring community. You will report to the Center Administrator. This on‑site outpatient clinic is located at our West Augusta Clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a switchboard or multi‑line phone and maintain long distance call logs.
  • Greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor logs, alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival or direct visitors to the appropriate office, department or employee.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization’s location, hours of operation, phone numbers and/or email address.
  • Perform additional administrative activities as necessary, e.g., booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages.
  • This role is patient‑facing and is part of the company’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of medical reception experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with EMR systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a value‑based care model.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Schedule & Pay

Scheduled weekly hours: 40

Pay range: $38,000 – $45,800 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
