Overview of the role We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Front of House Associate to join our team. In this key role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, helping to create a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

As the heart of our reception area, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house services, balancing a variety of tasks while maintaining a calm, professional presence. Key Responsibilities

Customer & Visitor Experience

  • Greet and welcome guests professionally, providing excellent first impressions.
  • Manage visitor registration, sign-in procedures, and direct guests to appropriate areas.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain tidy, well-presented reception, lobby and meeting room areas at all times. Administrative Support
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating resources.
  • Support office operations such as ordering supplies.
  • Oversee shopping orders for both the London/Amersham offices and maintain stock levels.
  • Prepare documents, correspondence, and reports as required. Operational Duties
  • Ensure front-of-house systems (phones, booking tools, access control) are functioning correctly.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as workplace, IT, and security when issues arise.
  • Follow health & safety procedures, including visitor checks and emergency protocols.
  • Support events, tours, and onboarding days as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Professional appearance and positive customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Preferred
  • Experience in reception, hospitality, customer service, or a similar front-facing role.
  • First Aid & Fire Warden Trained
  • Knowledge of office management tools (booking systems, phone consoles, access control systems).
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • An eagerness to learn new skills within workplace/facilities. Key Competencies

Based at the reception desk with regular interaction with visitors and staff.

Occasional support for events or activities outside standard hours (if required).
