About Indoor Pickleball X — Concord
Indoor Pickleball X is a welcoming, community-focused indoor pickleball facility where players of all ages and skill levels come to play, learn, and have fun. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Front Desk Worker who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
As the Front Desk Worker, you will be the first person our members and guests see when they arrive. You’ll create a positive first impression by providing excellent customer service, checking in players, monitoring court activity, and helping keep our facility clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Applicants who know and enjoy pickleball are highly encouraged to apply, but previous pickleball experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet members and guests with a friendly attitude.
- Check players in using our computer-based management system.
- Answer questions and assist customers with memberships, reservations, merchandise, and facility information.
- Process retail sales using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle payment transactions accurately.
- Monitor pickleball courts and ensure players are using the correct courts and following facility guidelines.
- Help first-time visitors feel welcome by explaining how the facility works.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
- Complete other front desk and facility duties as assigned.
Cleaning Responsibilities
- Restocking bathrooms
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Wiping tables
- Emptying trash cans
- Straightening chairs and organizing common spaces
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service oriented.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of or interest in pickleball.
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or front desk experience.
- Experience working in a recreational or sports facility is a plus.
