The Role
As our Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator, you are the heartbeat of the practice. You’re the first voice patients hear and the last smile they see. You’ll own the patient experience from scheduling through checkout, help patients say "yes" to the care they need, and keep our clinical team running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, professional environment
- Answer phones and manage scheduling with efficiency and friendliness
- Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits clearly to patients
- Present treatment plans and confidently discuss financial options
- Collect payments and co-pays at time of service
- Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and pending cases
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of dental front office experience preferred (will train the right person)
- Warm, confident communicator — on the phone and in person
- Comfortable discussing money and treatment costs without flinching
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental practice management software a plus
