We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist/Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty and wellness team. In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while delivering professional nail care services. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, accommodating client needs and maintaining an organized front desk
- Provide professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail art, and cuticle care with attention to sanitation standards
- Assist clients with product recommendations, retail sales, and upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions or body waxing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all workstations, tools, and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations
- Handle phone inquiries, appointment confirmations, and client follow-ups with clear communication skills
- Support the team by managing retail inventory and processing transactions accurately using retail math skills
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or nail technician certification recognized by state/local authorities
- Proven experience in nail care services and esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and body waxing procedures
- Familiarity with hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, and barbering techniques is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Basic retail math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
