About Us
Real Nails is a welcoming, community-focused nail salon in Niles built on our values of Real Care and Real Community. We take pride in a clean, friendly, and professional environment for both our clients and our team. We’re looking for a warm, reliable part-time receptionist to be the welcoming first face our clients see.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients warmly and check them in for appointments
- Answer phones, respond to texts/emails, and book or adjust appointments
- Manage the front desk, waiting area, and checkout
- Process payments and handle gift card sales
- Keep the reception and retail areas tidy and well-stocked
- Communicate wait times and coordinate flow between clients and technicians
- Support the team with light administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable with scheduling software, phones, and basic computer tasks
- Able to multitask in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Punctual with reliable transportation
- Weekend availability a required
- Prior salon, spa, or front-desk experience a plus (but not required — we’ll train the right person)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule
- Part-time, approximately 5 shifts per week
- Availability including some weekends preferred
- Shifts within salon hours
