Job Overview
Trinity AutoLab is the city of Tyler’s premier shop for high-quality automotive accessories such as ceramic window film, ceramic coating, paint protection film, detailing and MUCH MORE! We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers while assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing information on promotions and new products.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails and text messages through our CRM & POS systems.
- Schedule projects, register product warranties and order materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales is required.
- Strong cash handling skills and experience operating a cash register & credit card POS system.
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to assist diverse customer bases.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in upselling products is a plus, enhancing overall sales performance.
- Knowledge of product demos to effectively showcase merchandise is advantageous, product knowledge will be taught upon hiring as well.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
- General automotive knowledge is highly recommended as you will need to quickly familiarize yourself with many different types of vehicles.
Hours of Operation
- 9AM-6PM on Monday – Friday
- 7AM-1PM on Saturday (as needed)
- occasional overtime (as needed)
- We are willing to work with flexible schedules, like college classes. This can be a Full time position or part time.
