Job Summary
The Front Desk Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries. This role ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests while maintaining hotel policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
- Process payments, post charges, and reconcile daily transactions
- Maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS)
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Follow safety, security, and confidentiality procedures
- Assist with audit tasks and reports as required
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Choice Advantage, Opera, OnQ, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, POS systems)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Work Environment

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
