We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our growing team and help deliver an excellent experience to every patient who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
- Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and collect patient information accurately
- Handle patient check-in/check-out, copay collection, and billing inquiries
- Communicate effectively with therapists, patients, and insurance companies
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front office area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and data entry
- Manage daily patient flow and ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Medical Office or Physical Therapy clinic experience preferred
- Knowledge of health insurance verification and billing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
- Proficient in computer use (experience with EMR systems preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
