Position: Front Desk Receptionist– Fulfilled Care
At Fulfilled Care Psychiatry, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role as the first point of contact for our patients. We are seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented individual to help maintain the daily flow of our outpatient psychiatric clinic and deliver outstanding support to both patients and providers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet all visitors and patients with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage scheduling for psychiatric assessments and follow-up appointments
- Conduct insurance eligibility checks and explain coverage details to patients
- Handle payments and co-pays (note: most transactions are processed automatically)
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient questions, and route messages appropriately
- Partner with the psychiatrist to streamline patient care, support billing processes, and enhance service delivery
- Support general administrative operations to keep the practice running efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or additional education is a plus
- Prior experience working as a receptionist in a healthcare, behavioral health, or psychiatry practice is required
- Familiarity with insurance verification and billing practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent multitasking and time-management capabilities
- Comfortable working independently in a solo provider setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
