Are you organized, friendly, and ready to support a thriving healthcare team? We’re seeking a full-time Insurance Billing / Front Desk Specialist to join our fast-paced, patient-focused chiropractic clinic in Cedar Falls, IA. Hours are 7:30-5:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Off Thursday.

Position Overview
The Insurance Billing / Front Desk Specialist is a vital team member responsible for delivering excellent patient support while managing billing and administrative functions. This role combines front desk duties with insurance verification and claims handling in a dynamic clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Experience
Welcome patients with a positive, professional attitude
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out
Maintain accurate patient records and facilitate communications
Provide clear information regarding services, scheduling, and office policies
Insurance & Billing
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Prepare and submit claims to insurance carriers
Post payments
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
Assist patients with billing questions and payment arrangements
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, friendly demeanor in a busy healthcare environment
Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
Experience with medical insurance billing and front desk processes (preferred)
Comfortable with software systems and basic office technology
