The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for the professional, effective, and efficient handling of all residents’ requests and needs upon entering the community or building.
The Front Desk Attendant provides exemplary service consistent with Castle Group’s values and mission, demonstrating outstanding customer service skills as a representative of Castle Royal Service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet residents/guests upon entry and respond to requests, questions, and needs.
Document issues or transactions as needed.
Develop understanding of Association policies and requirements.
Identify appropriate departments or personnel for escalation when necessary.
Learn about surrounding areas and attractions.
Answer phones promptly, addressing questions and requests, and knowing support resources.
Track activity logs, incident reports, and records for daily review by the Property Manager.
Escalate concerns to the Property Manager for immediate resolution.
Monitor Emergency Response System and respond efficiently.
Control Electronic Security Systems if applicable.
Follow all safety procedures during duties.
Log packages and track them until pick-up or delivery to residents.
Handle overnight activities if required, depending on shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: 1+ years of administrative or hospitality experience.
Skills and Abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computer hardware/software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and act with integrity and professionalism.
Multilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Must meet the following physical demands, with accommodations available as needed:
Work under pressure, maintain composure, and exercise good judgment in stressful situations.
Lift up to 30 lbs following safety procedures.
Stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, and navigate the property.
Use fingers for typing and computer use.
Handle objects, reach with hands, and respond verbally to requests.
Stoop and bend as necessary.
