Job Description:
avid hotel Nashville–Lebanon is seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team for second shift. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and ensuring every guest has a positive experience during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Check guests in and out using the hotel reservation system
- Answer phones and assist guests with questions, requests, or concerns
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met
- Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
- Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
