Floater Secretarial Position Jobs in New Bern, NC at Terminix

Terminix is looking to hire a floater secretary to cover our New Bern/Jacksonville, NC offices. We will provide in house training. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. As a Secretary you will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office. You will assist colleagues by supporting them with planning and distributing information.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and make outgoing phone calls to customers and technicians
  • Check voicemails and return calls
  • Manage the daily schedules and arrange appointments
  • Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports
  • Maintain current filing system
  • Check frequently the levels of office supplies and notify management when low
  • Follow up on clients with past due balances

Skills

  • Experience as a secretary or administrative assistant a plus but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • High school diploma
