Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Experienced Veterinary Receptionist or Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional client service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the overall smooth operation of our hospital. The ideal candidate will possess veterinary terminology knowledge and experience with pet care procedures to ensure our clients and their pets receive the best possible experience.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to financial protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, medication administration, and follow-up appointments.
- Uphold compliance with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and USDA guidelines related to medication handling and recordkeeping.

At Union Hill Animal Hospital, our pay rate is commensurate with experience and education. We distribute quarterly bonuses based on the performance of the practice. Our benefits package is negotiable and includes health insurance, a Simple IRA retirement plan, short and long term disability, continuing education (encouraged for all staff), paid time off, paid holidays, uniforms and discounted pet care.
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
