This role calls for a Legal Administrative Assistant with a strong background in civil litigation to support our Professional Liability group. You’ll be responsible for preparing legal documents, managing schedules, and liaising with clients and professionals. You will play a crucial role in expediting workflows and ensuring seamless communication within the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize workflow and initiate follow-ups for the legal team
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence with minimal guidance
• Manage professional’s calendar and travel arrangements
• Liaise effectively with clients and internal teams
• Monitor billing matters and perform diverse administrative tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation
• Relevant post-secondary education or diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal filing portals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
