Electrocardiogram TechnicianFull Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
The ECG Tech performs EKGs, Holter Monitors, Event Monitors, and ETT’s. Job responsibilities also include performing assigned clerical duties, participating in departmental-specific education quality improvement programs, and other duties as assigned by lead, assistant supervisor, supervisor, and/or managers. Demonstrates a professional and caring image at all times maintaining member confidentiality. Adheres to Daytona Heart Group Policies and Procedures, within the capacity of education, training, and/or experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills, and experience:
Experience reading EKG’s
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear English communication skills, written and oral.
- Current Professional Rescuer CPR certification/required within 3 months of employment.
- Prefer previous EKG experience or course certificate.
- Computer literate.
- Medical Office experience desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
