NewAir Home Care, Inc. is a Durable Medical Equipment office that provides exceptional personal service to patients throughout Lake, Sumter, Volusia, Orange, Seminole, and surrounding counties. NewAir Home Care, Inc. was established in 2002 and continues to strive for optimum patient care. We are currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative. The office staff is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, authorizing insurances and communicating with doctor’s office staff. We are looking preferably for personnel familiar with durable medical equipment including but not limited to CPAP’s, BIPAP’s, Oxygen Concentrators, Nebulizers, Wheelchairs, Commodes and other equipment. We are a fast paced, multitasking environment. This position interacts closely with team members, warehouse personnel, and other members of our office to ensure patients are processed in a timely manner and the correct equipment and supplies are delivered to our patients. There are some clerical responsibilities that are required in this position such as basic computer knowledge and electronic scanning.
The following are duties associated with the position:
- Greeting patients on the phone and in person
- Demonstrates Customer Service skills
- Produces efficient and accurate relaying if information to other departments throughout the office.
- Inputs patient information and communicates with team members and patient’s on status of delivery
- Insurance verification
- Insurance Authorizations
- Creating supply orders
- Knowledge of CPAP masks and supplies
Preferred Experience:
1-3 years in a medical office setting
Previous DME experience
Brightree experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year
