Dog Kennel Technician/ Receptionist Jobs in Medina at Bennetts Kennels
we are looking to add another person to our team at our family owned business ! As a Boarding Kennel Receptionist, where your enthusiasm for animals and exceptional customer service skills will create a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved companions. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, managing reservations, assisting with pet check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring every pet receives compassionate care. Your energetic approach will help maintain a smooth operation, fostering trust and satisfaction among clients while supporting the overall well-being of the animals in our care.
While the main point of this position will be the reception side of the business, you must me willing to train and assist throughout the day in the kennel cleaning/feeding/walking as well.

9am-5:15 Mon- Sat
9am-3pm Sundays
Responsibilities
- Greet pet owners warmly, answer inquiries, and provide information about our kennel services
- Manage reservations, scheduling pet stays, and coordinating daily check-ins and check-outs
- Assist with pet handling during drop-off and pickup, ensuring proper animal restraint and safety
- Maintain detailed records of pet care, medical history, and special needs for each animal
- Support kennel staff with basic animal care tasks such as feeding, grooming, or administering medication if needed
- Handle phone calls professionally, scheduling appointments and addressing client concerns promptly
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Experience
- Prior experience in kennel operations or animal handling is preferred but not necessary
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Minimum of one year customer service experience is required.
Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
