SCANWORKS IS HIRING!
ScanWorks is a document scanning company. We convert paper files into digital format. We are seeking a Document Handler. The job consists of preparing the materials to be digitized by pulling staples, opening envelopes, removing sticky notes, stacking paper in a specific manner, etc. It’s kind of a boring job TBH, but it’s stress-free.
Competencies:
– Must be able to lift a 25-pound box of paper repeatedly throughout the day.
– Must have the capability to keep eyes and hands moving at all times.
– Must have short nails.
– Must be efficient and meet productivity standards.
– Must be willing to undertake various other tasks at times including completing office chores.
– Must be reliable.
– Must be trustworthy.
– Ideally, must be able to start very soon.
Bonus: Someone able to periodically drive vans and trucks for box retrievals from customers for bonus pay.
Hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. $17/hour, 7 paid holidays, paid time off accrual system, 2 paid breaks, paid 30-minute lunch, AFLAC supplemental benefits available but no health insurance presently.
This is not the type of job where you will have downtime to be on your phone. Employees are expected to keep their eyes and hands busy on assigned tasks during work periods. In exchange, breaks are provided and 1 earbud can be worn while working. We endeavor to make this a pleasant place to work while delivering an exceptional product to our customers.
