Cleburne, Texas

The District Administrator plays a crucial role in providing office support functions, of our office environment. This position is responsible for administrative tasks and providing essential support to staff and management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, a strong communicator, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Major Duties/Critical Tasks:

(May perform any combination of the following duties, depending upon the organization and size of the district office)

  • Type shipping papers and correspondence
  • Take orders from customers and perform customer service functions
  • Call route customers to solicit orders
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Process credit applications
  • Call past due accounts
  • Operate switchboard
  • File
  • Prepare reports
  • Process accounts payable and/or receivable
  • Order office supplies
  • Arrange shipments by common carriers
  • Order products or raw materials
  • Conduct or assist with warehouse inventory
  • Process timecards or time sheets
  • Process invoices, orders, etc.. in D365 proficiently and accurately
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office Programs ( Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Office)

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain and organize office filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, email, and phone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties.

Facilities & Resource Management:

  • Ensure the office environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Support & Coordination:

  • Provide administrative support to senior management and other staff as required.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Organize and execute company events, team-building activities, and employee appreciation initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, greeting visitors professionally.

Financial & Business Support:

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.

Communication & Culture:

  • Foster a positive and productive office culture.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels within the office.
  • Act as a central point for disseminating important company information.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Three to five years’ experience in a corporate environment as an general secretary or customer service representative Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in OR equivalent experience. Internships, capstone projects, and co-op experience will be considered in lieu of full-time professional history
  • Ability to work overtime Required
  • Pre-employment testing, drug screen and physical exam Required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must reside in the Cleburne or surrounding area
