About the Role
SMS Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Coordinators to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate documentation, inventory tracking, and smooth order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Print, organize, and process inbound paperwork (purchase orders, transfers, etc.)
- Handle outbound documentation (sales orders, transfer orders, BOLs, packing lists)
- Investigate and resolve order release issues
- Perform inventory adjustments and location movement transactions
- Scan, file, and maintain electronic and paper records
- Update inventory statuses as needed
- Run and firm planned transfer orders
- Monitor emails and complete or delegate requests in a timely manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to work around chemicals and follow safety guidelines
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company policies on attendance and performance
