Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dental Front Office Specialist to join our new dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional patient service. Your expertise in medical administrative support, insurance verification, and office management will help create a seamless experience for our patients from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate must be proficient with office computer programs, as well as with communication, telephone, and customer service skills. This team member will be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phones, and sending insurance claims and bills, while supporting other administrative staffs. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage patient intake with professionalism and efficiency
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance eligibility checks
- Schedule appointments accurately
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and scheduling support
- Manage dental records, and ensure proper filing of all documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in dental industry
- Great communication skills
- Thorough organization
- Follow up on accounts receivables and pending insurance claims
- Proven experience in a dental office or healthcare administrative role with strong front desk responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation
- Spanish-speaking is a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Experience with dental terminology and clinic operations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
