Who Do We Need?
We are seeking a Dental Receptionist that is cross trained in dental assisting to join our expanding practice in Berwyn. The ideal candidate is:
- A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willing to learn new skills.
- Has excellent phone skills, communication skills, and customer service.
- Skilled in chairside assisting.
- Familiar with insurance breakdowns.
- Familiar with Dentrix and scheduling.
- Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.
- Coronal polishing and sealant certified is a plus.
Job Description
- Assist with chairside procedures across general dentistry.
- Operate dental imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners
- Prepare and sterilize instruments adhering to OSHA protocols.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using Dentrix in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments, handle patient inquiries, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Support the entire team by keeping excellent patient flow and customer service.
- Market and promote the practice with reviews, referrals, and community outreach.
Other Job Details
- Position is for 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Must be available 1-2 days per week at 7am and 1-2 days per week until 7pm.
