Position Summary
The Receptionist/Order Entry will be responsible for receiving visitors, handling all customer inquiries, concerns, and orders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and assist with customer inquiries.
Deliver an excellent customer experience with every interaction; day to day interaction with customers, sales and distributors providing requested information and support relative to price, availability, quotes, and lead times, in person and via email.
Acquire thorough knowledge of product line and services.
Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring options; implementing solutions; escalating unsolved discrepancies.
Invoicing
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail.
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Education & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Customer Service attitude
Professional attitude and appearance
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
Physical Ability Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to be mobile throughout facility to communicate with other departments.
Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for extended periods of time.
