Position Summary

The Warehouse Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and

maintaining warehouse records within inventory management systems. This role supports

warehouse leadership by ensuring inventory, shipping, receiving, and production data is

recorded correctly and on time, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and smooth

workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter accurate data related to inventory, shipping, receiving, and order processing into the WMS/ERP.
  • Verify and cross-check paperwork such as packing slips, bills of lading, and load sheets.
  • Update inventory counts, adjustments, and logs; support cycle counts and audits.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments; ensure documentation is properly filed.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records for compliance and accuracy.
  • Review data for errors and resolve discrepancies with warehouse staff.
  • Create or update spreadsheets, logs, and reports for management.
  • Support communication between warehouse, purchasing, customer service, and other departments.
  • Assist with labeling, printing, and producing operational paperwork.
  • Provide additional administrative support as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of data entry or administrative experience; warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong typing and data entry accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; WMS/ERP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
