About The Role
We are currently seeking a Temporary Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely. This position offers a flexible workload, often fluctuating during peak seasons such as hurricane periods. The role involves accurately entering and verifying claim-related data, reviewing transcriptions from mobile applications, and maintaining detailed records. High-performing individuals may be considered for full-time placement within the organization. Qualifications
- Secondary School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in data entry, transcription, retail, or customer service roles
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer or laptop running Windows 10 or 11 (Mac or Chromebook not accepted)
- USB wired headset and functioning webcam
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- Strong technical skills including online research and accurate data editing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Adaptability to new technology and processes
- Willingness to learn and improve continuously
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and verify claim-related data within designated systems
- Review and edit mobile app transcriptions to ensure correctness
- Maintain clear and ongoing communication with team members and Content Claims Specialists regarding claim status and data progression
- Meet workflow deadlines consistently and efficiently
- Document and upload relevant claim information, maintaining detailed notes and records
- Implement feedback from Quality Assurance reviews promptly and accurately
- Complete daily work and time logs for all processed claims
- Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure team objectives are met
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to data security and confidentiality
